Chronicle
From its origins in St-Cergue above Lake Geneva to the sealing of the Foundational Register, the Chronicle records the principal moments through which Atelier WOCS formed its structure of attribution, custodianship, and continuity.
The Founding
Setting

Atelier WOCS was established within the Grand Hôtel de l’Observatoire in St-Cergue. From this origin emerged a structured framework dedicated to attribution, inscription, and the preservation of meaning across time.
The Recorded
Sequence
Atelier WOCS was established in St-Cergue within the Grand Hôtel de l’Observatoire. The first principles of precision, structure, and continuity were set in place.
The first issuances entered the Swiss National Library under the Federal Department of Home Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, joining the recorded memory structure of the nation.
Two dedicated issuances were established for the owning family of the Gstaad Palace, held by the same family since 1947.
A permanent presence was established within the Royal Savoy in Lausanne, extending the Maison into one of Switzerland’s historic hospitality settings.
The Geneva Founding Chamber was established as the first dedicated setting of the Maison, from which attribution, presentation, and custodial continuity were carried forward.
A dedicated engagement with Bucherer 1888 in Geneva expanded the horological corpus of the Maison.
A dedicated issuance was established for Ferrari Lausanne, extending the recorded body into the automotive sphere.
A composition entered the permanent collection of the Automobile Club de Monaco, marking formal placement within one of Europe’s historic automotive institutions.
Atelier WOCS was formally invited into Watches and Wonders Geneva as the first cultural presence admitted within the watchmaking body of the Salon.
The Foundational Register was sealed as the completed founding body of the Maison, composed of five hundred Foundational Guardians across private and institutional custodianship.
From this completed body, continuity was carried forward through the establishment of the Geneva Register.
