Custodianship
The Custodian
Role
A Custodian holds a recorded position within the Geneva Register, maintained in Geneva under the custodial responsibility of Atelier WOCS.
Custodianship establishes a formal line between a guardian, the recorded position entrusted to that line, and the preservation of meaning across generations.
Preserving Meaning
Through Inscription
Each seat attributed within the Geneva Register contributes to a coherent body of continuity.
Through attribution, inscription, and transmission, custodianship preserves the values, symbols, and affinities carried forward by a guardian or family line.
What A Custodian
Carries Forward
Upon attribution, a seat within the Geneva Register is formally established and entrusted to a designated Custodian.
The Custodian assumes stewardship of the recorded position, its associated line of meaning, and the continuity attached to future transmission.
A Position Within
Continuity
Positions within the Geneva Register are formally recorded in Geneva under the custodial responsibility of Atelier WOCS.
Each recorded seat preserves its attributed corpus, date of inscription, designated holder, and continuity of transmission within a permanent body of cultural memory.
Certified extracts, confirmations, and succession references may be issued upon appropriate request by the recorded guardian, authorised family representatives, or recognised successors.
Continuity
Across Generations
Custodianship may be transmitted through registered succession.
Through each succession, the recorded position remains attached to the values, symbols, and cultural references carried forward by its line.
Institutional
Presentation
In select instances, custodians may be invited to support institutional placement or cultural presentation.
Such invitations are governed by discretion, coherence, and contextual relevance, while the Custodian remains formally acknowledged in associated documentation.
Custodianship
As Continuity
Continuity stands at the centre of the Geneva Register.
Custodianship is the form through which a recorded position is carried, preserved, and transmitted across time.
A recorded seat establishes an enduring line of relation in Geneva, extending from attribution into stewardship, memory, and succession.
