Creation Origin

Blue, Matterhorn is an original composition, a tribute to the iconic Swiss peak under the spell of twilight. This work captures the mountain’s ethereal presence against a celestial dome of stars. Preserved by the Swiss National Library, this composition is part of Switzerland’s artistic heritage.

Issued in a limited allocation of 25 registered compositions, each is individually identified, formally authenticated, and accompanied by an official Certificate of Authentication, establishing its custodial inscription.

Curatorial Note

Composed in twilight tones, Blue evokes the silent majesty of the Matterhorn as night descends over the Swiss Alps. A mountain that has inspired generations of alpinists and artists alike, it is here reimagined not in the brilliance of day, but in the stillness of starlight, where presence is felt rather than proclaimed.

Its crystalline silhouette emerges against a celestial sky, flanked by the gentle shimmer of constellations. Below, the lake acts as a second canvas, reflecting both the summit and the night’s quiet grandeur in shifting ripples, an alpine dialogue between form and reflection.

In this vision, time seems suspended. The familiar contours of the Matterhorn give way to something more contemplative: a symbol of permanence within an ever-changing landscape. Blue does not illustrate the mountain, it listens to it, capturing the poise, silence, and reverence that only night can reveal.
