Creation Origin
Ferrovia Del Bernina, Lago Bianco is an original composition, capturing the poetic grandeur of Swiss heritage through the lens of rail-bound exploration. Paying tribute to the Bernina Express, a legendary railway journey that traverses some of the world’s most awe-inspiring alpine landscapes, this work is a celebration of movement, altitude, and memory.
Issued in a limited allocation of 25 registered compositions, each is individually identified, formally authenticated, and accompanied by an official Certificate of Authentication, establishing its custodial inscription.
Curatorial Note
A single red carriage cuts across the stillness of the Bernina range, tracing one of the most legendary alpine routes ever conceived. The Bernina Express links Switzerland to Italy through the UNESCO-listed Rhaetian Railway, offering a rare continuity between engineering, landscape, and legacy.
This composition captures a scene that belongs to Swiss memory: a passage through stone and snow, bridges and silence. It preserves the essence of a journey that has endured since 1910, one that embodies precision, endurance, and the art of travelling with purpose. An heirloom of the mountains.
